Color never crosses a line

Coloring assist is the magic behind every neat picture.

The first shape you touch is the only one that fills

Color stays inside the shape your child touches first, until the finger or Apple Pencil lifts. Wobbly strokes, big swoops and tiny fingers all end in a neat picture, so every child feels proud of it.

  • Works with every tool: crayon, glitter, spray, brush and more
  • Teens can turn it off with one switch
  • No timers, no scores, no pressure

Always inside the lines

From a blank page to a finished picture

Everything within reach

Tools and colors sit along the top, and every button sits in one column on one side, so the drawing has room to breathe. Parents can move the buttons for a left-handed child.

The coloring canvas on an upright iPad: nine tools along the top, a row of colors below, round buttons in a column on the left, and a smiling whale partly colored blue.

Glitter, spray and patterns

Crayon, glitter, paint bucket, spray can, brush, pencil, marker, pattern roller and eraser. Glitter sparkles, spray paint builds up into soft gradients, and one tap with the pattern roller fills a shape with polka dots, hearts or stars.

The pattern roller selected over a unicorn colored with pink glitter and patterns: polka dots, hearts, stars and stripes ready to roll.

Need an idea?

The light-bulb button shows the same drawing already colored, with its colors ready to pick. Children can copy it or do their own thing. Parents can hide the button.

Celebrate, save and color again

Every finished picture gets a little celebration and lands in My Art. Work is saved after every stroke, and undo is always one tap away.

Something to color for everyone

216 drawings in 18 collections at launch, from puppies and dinosaurs to mandalas and city lights, and new ones keep coming.

One app, three looks

The age a parent picks changes the whole app: the look, the tools and the drawings in the gallery. Each age band has its own visual identity.
